I love this, Fran. And find myself on the same journey! I am having fun this year, Fiddle not quite there yet but I'm going out there filling notebooks, learning things to take forward with Fiddle. But above all I want her to have fun and see where it takes us! Pleased to read I am not alone
I was so pleased to see you embracing even more learning at the KS clinic - I think going without horse actually leaves us free to watch and concentrate more fully. It feels like a frustrating time but we just have to make the most of every opportunity. Had I been able to crack on with eventing Cal from the start I would never have found the time for the lessons with Patrice and I would never have gained the knowledge or the feel to even dream of teaching this classical dressage stuff!!!
I learnt so much watching KS but we go back in Sept with Fiddle! I think we'll have a ball I can't wait! Everything has a reason and yes embrace where you are at!
